Ficthe't Ethics

The work is dedicated to the analysis of the philosophy of J. G. Fichte, one of the representatives of German classical idealism. The author’s goal is to demonstrate the logical necessity by which post-Kantian idealistic philosophy, as exemplified by Fichte, led to the creation of the theory of dialectics; to explore the perspectives that Fichte’s subjective-idealist theory of dialectics offered for development along objective-idealist lines; and to identify the rational elements within this theory that could be reworked on a materialist basis. The work also analyzes Fichte’s grounding of the principle of morality and seeks to highlight the rational moments present within it.
